So since I've made a lengthy blog post about my experience with eXtreme Moments 3 here, I'll be sharing some of my favorite photos from the shoot! I truly am thankful to all the photographers who did a wonderful job. :) (And sorry to those I was not able to have a shoot with due to lack of energy ><;;). This really is one of the reasons why this hobby is so fun :) ~ I get to see everyone (both cosplayers and photographers) do their best to create wonderful outputs... and memories~! :)
(In my future blog posts, I'll be talking about Daydreams 1-3, the first cosplay shoot series that I joined. Since this blog was created just last week, I can only talk about these memories now. Hahaha. I kind of want to make this blog as a journal for wonderful life events, so I'll blog about those too if I don't get too lazy~!)
Note: I wish I could have taken pictures of the venue :'( to add to this post..but I was a little sleepy at that time, and I didn't even bring a camera with me. (*regret deepens*, next time, I promise!)
Note #2: Again, I would like to apologize if my wig looks too pink in some of the photos. My wig was really pinkish red. I guess it looks more pink than red :( I was really trying my best to stick to Kotori's hair as much as possible and not just stick to a normal red wig.
Note #3: I am aware that her footwear is actually a pair of slippers + fiery socks, but I opted to wear heels inside the shoe cover so I'd look taller. The costume is long, so I just wanna try to balance everything out >< heheh!

Ooh, he really did a good job with editing this one! :3 (Spoiler Warning!!: It reminds me of that time when Kotori made a commotion in the city when Ifrit first arrived~)

I really like how he was able to capture the beauty of the venue with this shot~! :3
I'm floating! Yeay!!! :3
Ahh! There a lot more photos, and I honestly love them all. I will update this soon <3 Hihi. Hope I didn't ruin Kotori Itsuka's spirit form for you! >__<! I also love the tsun tsun commander loli! :)
For more photos, please do check my cosplay page~! :3

Random: August used to be one of my favorite months, but now I really can't say that I still feel the same. Ahehe. ƪ(‾ε‾“)ʃ
Since I only created this blog last week, I only have this time (since I only felt like posting now) to post about recent life events. I started August this year with one amazing out of town cosplay shoot. (I am actually very delighted and grateful to be invited by the organizers of eXtreme Moments! :3) They invited me to eXtreme Moments 3, the third installment of the out of town cosplay shoot series. I was actually invited to join eXtreme Moments 2 last May (?), but due to some circumstances, I wasn't able to go. (⌣_⌣”).. Too bad because I was supposed to cosplay one of the characters I love, Nora, from Noragami! (´;д;`)
Well this time I made sure that I'd be attending. I thought of who to cosplay and made preparations as early as June. I decided to cosplay Kotori Itsuka's spirit form Efreet/Ifrit from Date a Live. This was actually suggested by "Yato" (the person I am currently dating). I was already familiar with Date a Live but prior to his suggestion, I haven't actually watched the series. XD When he suggested Kotori to me, I actually fell in love with her at first sight... so I thought, why not? I then made a conscious effort to watch the entire series to further familiarize myself with Kotori and the series itself. (I know how off it is for other cosplayers to cosplay a character you don't know..so I made an effort 'cause I also have that 'principle', just not as strict as some of the cosplay purists ehehe ^^;; ). I had an anime marathon and watched both seasons of Date A Live straight!!! I fell in love with it and almost all of its female characters, but I do hope that they can continue the series! The ending was too erghh for me. If given the chance and resources, I'd even want to cosplay almost all of the characters because they all have this unique charm to them <3.
Anyway! With that decided, I asked the help of Tita Irma Espinosa and Karen for my costume and Spark Creative Works for my weapon (Kotori's angel in halberd form: Camael). I ordered dark pink/red lenses but they didn't arrive on time :( So I only used the pink lenses I have in stock. I am blind without graded lenses, so I can only rely on pre-ordered ones. As for my wig, I initially bought a bright red wig.. but my cosplay wouldn't be that accurate if I wore that one. It was honestly very difficult to look for a wig that has the exact color as Kotori's (Kotori's hair is pinkish red-- not just merely red). Luckily someone was selling a pinkish red wig from the CNPH cosplay market, so I used that~ Unfortunately, when the photos came out, the wig looked more pink than red. :( But it's fine, I guess since I had no choice.
So back to the original event! eXtreme Moments 3 was held in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan. It was a really lovely place, but a little isolated though! To me it was a perfect spot to relax and unwind if you want to stay away from the busy-ness and the noise of the city. What's more amazing is that it looks like a mini Vigan. It was a tourist spot, beach, and resort all in one place. I, along with other cosplayers and photographers rode a rented bus to the said area. I was lucky enough to make new friends in this event! (e.g. Angel [who was my seatmate in the bus], Mika, Kach, etc).
I really really loved this event because aside from cosplaying, I was able to travel and make new friends and meet new people from the community! :) I really hope I can continue joining these kinds of events. It really hits two birds with one stone. :)
Thank you once again to the organizers. I will be posting the photos of my cosplay in my next blog post :3 (because this one is too wordy).

My sister just opened her online shop on Instagram! :) You may check her shop here: PINKYPROMISE.PH. Please do follow her and check her items out. You might like something. :)
She used me as her model for the first set of items. ><;; I am really sorry if I look derpy or sickly or something. I was actually not feeling well while we were doing this shoot. Hahaha. Most of the items here are also not like my usual style so I guess it's a little unusual (but refreshing) to see myself sporting the different styles from this set. Eheh. ( ̄◇ ̄;)
Here are some of the items for sale~

Last July 25, I went out of town with a bunch of friends for a shoot. So yes, this is a late post. I was supposed to be with another model (one of my friends from the Kpop community) but because of certain circumstances, I was the only one available. My photographer friends: Emerson, Rowell, and Chris invited me for a casual shoot in Tagaytay. (I know, right! Talk about effort~ Haha. This is time first time that I actually had a casual/fashion shoot out of town, I think?). The theme of the shoot had a seifuku-y Japanese school girl-y feel. My friends were kind enough to provide the skirt for this shoot! It was a really cute black skirt. So I carefully looked for the appropriate top in my closet so I could properly match the school girly feel.
The location was set in People's Park in the Sky in Tagaytay City and in one of the branches of Starbucks Coffee in Tagaytay. Initially, it the weather was good, but it started to rain at around 4PM. It was fine, though! Because of the rain, I was finally able to do one of the pegs that I have wanted to do in a casual shoot-- to wear a school uniform while holding a clear/transparent umbrella. The weather was also tolerable despite the rain. I am really not good with the cold weather ><; but thankfully, despite wearing a really short skirt, the weather wasn't that bad to make me shiver.
Here are some of the outputs from the shoot, and I guess my favorite shots too! By the way, the photos are of course, originally high res. I just made the photos low res because the file sizes are too huge!

Hahaha! I apologize for wearing sandals in this shot. I was wearing heeled boots, but my feet got tired! I am not used to wearing heels.

The shots are all beautiful! There are more photos, but these ones are my favorite! Thank you for inviting me in this shoot! :)

I was thinking of what kind of content I'd put in this blog. It's been a while actually, and I don't know what kind of stuff I would put here. XD So whatever~ When I was younger, I used to blog a lot in Xanga. Unfortunately, I forgot to back that up when Xanga decided that they will be closing off some of the inactive blogs (if I remember correctly). I guess it's also a blessing in disguise, because I think my xanga blogs had too much emo content. Hahaha. Too bad I won't be able to see how "emo" I was back then. I also have a Tumblr blog, but I kinda stopped logging in for a while. I think I got lazy 'cause I got pissed off while I was blogging in Tumblr one time. I was trying to do a makeup and skin care review and when I was about to publish it, my browser got shitty and I lost everything. No drafts saved whatsoever. It was really frustrating. -__- Now, out of boredom, I thought that maybe I could try creating another blog.. this time with Blogspot (or Blogger?). Hopefully I won't get lazy to update this once in a while. I really don't know what my purpose is for creating a blog again. I guess I just want to have some sort of journal for my life events (I guess this would be the main reason.? It would be nice to have a place to keep my memories). And, I guess I also want to practice my English skills (if I even have any, lol) that are starting to get rusty. Please feel free to correct me kindly if I have grammatical errors.
I also deactivated my Facebook accounts recently.. so yeah I thought, why not try blogging again or something. It's only been a day since I've deactivated my two Facebook accounts. I don't know. I got a little moody so I just felt like f*ck this sh*t I am out. Lol. I don't know how long I will be deactivating them though..because I always check my Facebook accounts (like really, everyday!)... and I frequently contact my friends there. I don't know how long I can keep this up, but at this moment, it seems that I can live without Facebook. I am a little proud of myself for that. XD
Well there. Basically, I just want to keep track of what's happening in my life. I really hope I won't get lazy! I also hope that I won't be blogging too much emo stuff here haha.
:)

Honestly, this is pathetic. I added an ABOUT tab in my blog.. so I thought that maybe I needed to make an "About Me" post so the tab can actually have a link.
I am a cosplayer from the Philippines. I love watching anime, and reading manga when I have the time. Oh! I am actually a fujoshi (I believe that is the term for females who are fans of Yaoi or BL which is basically man x man anime romance :3 Hahaha.). I also love playing games, but I don't consider myself as a hardcore gamer-- a casual one maybe? :). Because playing games is one of my interests, I became a game master for an online game once. Hehe (ヾ; ̄▽ ̄)ヾ. I love to travel (when I actually have the time and the resources)! I don't want to live my life not being able to see the beauty of this world, so it really is one of my dreams to travel and see the world as much as possible. I also like Japanese and Korean fashion~ I try my best to stick by this trend whenever I go out or even when I go to work. But during my lazy days, I just love to wear whatever's comfortable. I am also quite ambitious, so there are many things I want to achieve. I guess I just need the dedication and the spirit to push through with them!

Did you ever wonder why my nickname is "Nechi"? (〃 ̄ω ̄〃)ゞ It is actually a combination of "Vanessa (which is the name I really use. I rarely use Anjelica haha) + Chii (a character from the anime Chobits). When I was a younger, Chii was one of my favorite anime characters, and my online alias was vanessa_chiichii28. My friends made a shortcut out of that nickname and it became Vanechi.. then eventually it became Nechi. :)
